Wraparound Baby Carriers (Wraps) are the least structured carriers available. They are simply long pieces of fabric that the wearer wraps around herself and her baby to create a secure and supportive carrier. Wraps have the longest learning curve of any baby carriers, but they also provide exceptional versatility and comfort -- with even the heaviest of babies.

There are three different types of wraparound carriers:

Along for the Ride has chosen the Moby Wrap wraparound baby carrier. The original Moby Wrap design offers classic colors in a super-soft cotton. For a little extra flair, the Moby D adds that special touch, with panels of fleece or brocade.

The Gypsy Mama baby wraps bring unique hand-batiked wraps in a supportive stretch version or breezy gauze. Wear your newborn through preschooler on your front, back, or hip.
EllaRoo Wraps

Made of 100% cotton handwoven Guatemalan fabric, the EllaRoo Wrap has that just-right stretch, to form around you and baby, without being bouncy. We currently have several gorgeous fabric choices, woven for EllaRoo by a cooperative of weavers in Guatemala.

The EllaRoo Wrap is lightweight and easy to manipulate, compared to thicker wraparound baby carriers. For parents in warm climates, this means the Wrap is cool and breathable.
Gypsy Mama Wraps
Gypsy Mama provides gorgeous, comfortable cloth wrap carriers that make caring for your baby easier and more enjoyable. Our wraps are available in a hand-batiked stretchy wrap (the Bali Baby Stretch), a hand-batiked Gauze wrap (the Bali Baby Breeze), anda water wrap perfect for the shower or pool.
Moby Wrap
The original Moby Wrap is a classic and comfortable wraparound carrier!  5.5 meters of cotton interlock in a rainbow of colors.  I think this is one of the best baby carriers for extended wearing of newborns.

The Moby D offers the same great comfort as the original Moby Wrap but with a distinctive new look.  The Moby D features a central fabric panel is made of either hand-woven cotton, Asian brocade silk or fleece. While all fabric panels add aesthetically, the woven cotton and silk provide a piece of non-stretchy material to aide in supporting heavier babies and the fleece provides additional warmth.
Storchenwiege Wraps

While she has always shown a commitment to fair trade products, now Gypsy Mama has broadened her sustainable practices to packaging.
