The changing pad attaches to the carrier but also has an adjustable 
shoulder strap for independent use. It is made of 100% 12-ounce cotton 
canvas, is machine washable, contains a moisture resistant bag for 
soiled items, 2 removable/washable liners, 6 inside pockets, 2 outside 
front pockets, Velcro & snap closures.

The Ergo Changing Pad comes in the Hawaiian print pattern (identical
to the baby carrier print). It is a vintage Hawaiian leafy design with a
cream background and a green lining. The leaves are cranberry and
various shades of green.
